Hi!
I'm Brianna, and I'm a filmmaker, video editor, and a frequent matcha latte enjoyer.
I recently graduated from Northwestern University where I studied Radio/TV/Film and Latinx Studies. I currently work as a freelance video editor, but I'm also searching for opportunities in film/television production, commercial advertising, and marketing.
Growing up, I was interested in many art forms (painting, dancing, and music) which led me to develop a passion for filmmaking in high school with the OKCine Latino Film Institute. I entered college fascinated with every stage of production, yet grew to love editing films in Premiere.
While in college, I edited many short films and projects interested in learning all things post-production. Through collaborating with my peers, I developed my own distinct narrative style, focusing on human connection and family dynamics. I'm drawn towards emotionally resonant stories that reflect underrepresented experiences and identities.

With my editorial work, I hope to increase thoughtful representation for underrepresented groups in media, particularly for Latinx stories and voices. I grew up in the middle of Oklahoma, where I often felt my identity and experiences were never represented accurately on screen. In pursuing a career in film production, I hope to make strides in diversifying mainstream media, opening up doors for future generations. My background deeply informs my voice as a creative storyteller, and I'm proud to bring my perspective into new spaces.
