about.
Hi!
I'm Brianna Gallardo and I'm a senior at Northwestern University where I study Radio/Television/Film and Latinx Studies. My primary focus is video editing, but I enjoy color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics as well! I'm fascinated with the editing process, as I'm detail-oriented, make creative decisions, and am receptive to making constant revisions, all necessary for bringing a story to life.
Within narrative film, I aspire to tell underrepresented stories in a beautiful way through editing, and am drawn towards themes of intergenerational trauma, class differences, and complex familial relationships. I take inspiration from my own background as a first generation, low income Latina in the US, and am proud to bring my perspective into new spaces.
based in Evanston, IL.
